Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Novagya Tech ("we", "us"), the developer of the Dermi – Mole & Skin Scanner Android app ("Dermi"), collects, uses, shares, protects and deletes your information. Contact: gamemintapp@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs or files other than the photos you choose.
2. How we use information
Only to provide and improve Dermi: running scans, comparisons, chat, reports and routines; keeping your history; sending reminders you turn on; processing purchases and rewards; preventing fraud and abuse; and fixing problems. We do not sell your personal data, and we never use or share your photos or health information for advertising.
3. Sharing with service providers
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the app:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users. If Novagya Tech is involved in a merger or acquisition, users will be notified before data is transferred.
4. Ads
Dermi shows ads only when you choose to watch a rewarded video in exchange for free credits. Google AdMob may use your advertising ID to serve and measure these ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads). Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), we ask for consent before personalised ads.
5. AI processing
Photos and questions are sent over encrypted connections to the Google Gemini API to generate results. They are not used by us to train AI models. Results are AI-generated and may be wrong.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). Photos are stored in private storage that is never publicly accessible and are served only to your signed-in account. Access to our systems is restricted and protected by two-factor authentication.
7. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Crash and analytics data are kept for up to 14 months by Firebase. Purchase records may be kept for up to 7 years where tax or accounting law requires.
8. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- In the app: Profile → Delete Account & Erase All Data (immediate), or
- On the web: adjuststudios.com/delete-account (processed within 7 days).
Deletion permanently removes your account, photos, scans, spots, chats, reports and credits. You can also export a summary of your data in the app (Profile → Export My Health Data).
9. Your choices and rights
You can edit your skin profile, turn notifications off in Android settings, choose not to watch ads, and request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing gamemintapp@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, India's DPDP Act, Brazil's LGPD) you may have additional rights; we will respond within 30 days.
10. Children
Dermi is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Not a medical device
Dermi provides AI insights for wellness and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose disease and does not replace a qualified dermatologist.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
